3rd Joint German Society for Microcirculation and Vascular Biology, and the Netherlands Vascular Biology Organisation (DEBS/MiVaB) meeting

3-5 November 2021, Göttingen, Germany

The ESM will be sponsoring two travel awards (€400/award) to present original research, at the meeting.

We are delighted to announce the third joint Vascular Biology meeting between the German Society for Microcirculation and Vascular Biology (GfMVB), and the Dutch Vascular Biology Societies (DESB, MiVaB), 3 - 5 November 2021, in Goettingen is now LIVE and open to receive your abstracts and conference registration.

Our meeting will bring together investigators from all fields of vascular biology for the exchange of new concepts and discussions of outstanding questions in the field. Angiocrine signaling, Angiogenesis, Arteriogenesis, Lymphatics, Vascular Mechanobiology, the Microcirculation in Cardiac Regeneration, Systems approaches & single cell sequencing, and the Microcirculation in Covid-19 patients are just a few of the topics addressed at our meeting. In particular we are very excited to welcome Nobel laureate Prof. Stefan Hell, who will spearhead a special symposium dedicated to novel imaging modalities in the cardiovascular system.

In addition we will have the Aletta Jacobs awards (in total 3) for talented female scientists in the field of microvascular biology at the start of their career (PhD, first year Postdoc).
