75th Annual British Microcirculation and Vascular Biology Meeting

3-4 July 2025, Guildford

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to the 75th Annual Meeting of the British Microcirculation and Vascular Biology Society, which will be held at the University of Surrey in Guildford on Thursday, 3rd July and Friday, 4th July 2025.
This event offers a unique opportunity to connect with a vibrant community of researchers, share your work, and explore the latest tools and advancements in the field. The meeting features an exciting lineup of invited speakers and a dynamic program designed to foster collaboration and innovation and to highlight the 3R tools available to vascular biologists (see attached flyer). This meeting is the perfect forum to present your work and engage with a thriving community. ECR will have the opportunity to participate in ad-hoc events, aimed at raising career awareness and discuss the future of vascular research.
A special highlight of this year’s meeting is the 007-themed dinner at the Lakeside Restaurant, where you’ll experience an immersive murder mystery adventure that is sure to be a memorable evening.
The University of Surrey is located 30 minutes by train from London and 30 min by taxi from Heathrow and Gatwick. Accommodation is available in campus at very advantageous rates. The Society also offers support for the participation of ECR members and individuals with caring responsibilities.

Joint Dutch Belgium Vascular Biology Conference - 2025

We are very pleased to announce that a joint meeting of the Belgian and Dutch vascular biology societies that will take place in Leuven, Belgium, from September 10 to 12, 2025.
We have an exciting program covering a vast number of subjects in vascular biology. Speakers are balanced between Belgium, the Netherlands and invited international speakers. You can find the list of confirmed speakers in the attached flyer as well as on our website (though the program is not yet completely finalised)The focus is on young investigators.  So there will be lots of opportunities for talks, posters and interactions.

Session topics include:
Vascular Inflammation, Atherosclerosis, Mechanobiology, Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, Mechanobiology, Lymphatics, Organotypic vasculature, Cerebrovascular, Engineered vascular tissues

Please keep the following key dates in mind:
 - Abstract submission opening June 15
 - Abstract submission closing July 15
 - Early bird registration August 10

I hope to see many of you there, as well as the young researchers from your labs. More information to come on hotels and a detailed program.

MÉT-MBFT-MMVBT-MABIT 2025. évi közös konferenciája

Nagy örömmel invitáljuk Önöket a Magyar Élettani Társaság (MÉT), a Magyar Biofizikai Társaság (MBFT), Magyar Mikrocirkulációs és Vaszkuláris Biológiai Társaság (MMVBT) és a Magyar Bioinformatikai Társaság (MABIT) közös, angol nyelven tartott tudományos konferenciájára Szegedre, 2025. szeptember 2. és 5. között.

Az esemény különleges szakmai jelentőségét növeli, hogy a hazai kiválóságok mellett vendégeink között köszönthetjük Stefan Hell Nobel-díjas kutatót (Max Planck Institute, Németország), Roska Botond Wolf-díjas kutatót (Institute of Molecular and Clinical Ophthalmology Basel, Svájc), valamint Karikó Katalin munkatársát, Pardi Norbertet (University of Pennsylvania, USA). Az ő előadásaik és szakmai részvételük kivételes lehetőséget biztosítanak a kollégák számára, hogy a tudomány élvonalába tartozó kutatóktól tanuljanak és inspirációt merítsenek.

British Microcirculation and Vascular Biology Society Annual Meeting 2025

GfMVB meeting on Perspectives in Cardiovascular Biology

Next year’s GfMVB meeting on Perspectives in Cardiovascular Biology in cooperation with the DFG-funded collaborative research centre SFB1531 Damage control by the stroma vascular compartment, will be held in Frankfurt am Main on April 3rd to 5th, 2025. We have put together an exciting program covering most up to date asepcts of cardiovascular research e.g., responses to damage, vascular dysfunction, repair & remodelling, metabolism and angiogenesis (for details please see the website of the meeting).

We have invited thirteen world-class scientists to update us on the most recent develepments in their field and we have reserved numerous slots for oral abstract presentations and posters. We will host the Aletta Jacobs award as well as the prestigious Hermann-Rhein-Award competition and will have awards for best abstracts and best poster presentations. There will, of course, be ample room for networking during the breaks and get together event as well as during the conference dinner. We are convinced that next year`s meeting, like the previous meetings, will be an exciting scientific event and an ideal plattform for all career stages to interact, exchange and network!

The conference will be held in the modern meeting rooms of the medical faculty of Goethe University Niederrad Campus which is easily accessible by public transport and attractively located on the south bank of the Main river.
