Our Department was awarded the title of ‘MTA Centre of Excellence’

Department of Medical Physics and Informatics was awarded the title ‘MTA Centre of Excellence’ by the Board of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences for its outstanding performance in scientific work and research.

Based on the proposal of the Academy’s Research Institute Evaluation Council, the Department is entitled to bear the title and use the related logo between 2022 and 2027. The title will also be an asset in future grant applications.

The award certificate was solemnly received by Dr. Ferenc Peták, Head of the Department, from Dr. Tamás Freund, President of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and
Dr. László Hunyadi, Chairman of the Research Institute Evaluation Council, in the Ceremonial Hall of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
