Department of Medical Physics and Informatics

Dear Students,

Pursuant to current disease control guidelines, the Department of Medical Physics and Informatics (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) implements a hybrid (online and contact) method of education from the start of the semester. We should like to draw your your attention to the following in connexion with our courses:

  • Inside the building of the Institute (Faculty of Medicine, Small Education Building), it is mandatory to wear a face mask that covers both the mouth and the nose.
  • It is stongly recommended to use the 4 automatic hand sanitiser dispensers installed in the corridors upon entering the building and especially before entering a classroom.
  • fertotlenitoIn the breaks between classes, we shall disinfect all potentially exposed surfaces (desk, mouse, keyboard, etc).
  • We perform body temperature measurements upon classroom entrance.
  • Pursuant to disease control guidelines, students have to declare before each class that they show no COVID-19 symptoms and have not had any contact with a person confirmed as infected with COVID-19.

Education information

  • For all our courses, the primary site of administration is the CooSpace of the University. We shall provide information on additional online content or devices in the CooSpace scenes of the respective courses.
  • Lectures will be held as live YouTube streams at their scheduled time. The links to connect will be published in CooSpace. For each lecture, we shall publish annotated material in CooSpace.
  • Our Institute have chosen Microsoft Teams as an auxiliary interface to arrange online consultations with audio and video information.
  • Seminars are held in online form. The permanent Microsoft Teams links required to connect will be published in CooSpace.
  • Practicals start in contact form. In case of switching to distance education, the chosen platform for practicals is Microsoft Teams.

It is our shared goal for you to complete all our courses successfully despite the difficulties brought about by the current pandemic. Thank you in advance for your active cooperation in finding the most effective methods of education possible in the current situation.
