Coordinated by the University of Angers (FRANCE)

Seize the opportunity to live in France and study medicine according to a unique mix of curriculums taught entirely in English
Share your knowledge with students and teachers coming from different countries and cultures

The Medical School of the University of Angers is launching a new Medical program taught entirely in English: a full semester with an exciting combination of lectures by professors and researchers from many different European niversities, small group tutorials, student-driven projects and placements which can be offered in a research environment according to the student’s preference.

This semester of pre-clinical teaching, centred on biological sciences and research issues, is implemented by a consortium of European universities from Nantes (France), Szeged (Hungary), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Cluj-Napoca (Romania), Naples (Italy) and Timisoara (Romania).

JPEMS is open to all French and foreign students from our consortium who are enrolled in a medical course and keen on discovering France. The objective is to offer them the opportunity:

The objective is to offer French and foreign students the opportunity
  • to have an overview of European medicine taught by renowned visiting professors
  • to benefit from a large European network useful for early exposure to research
  • to learn medical English from doctors with international careers
  • to increase their own employability in international organisations

It includes a full-time research placement in a research laboratory and it will be fully credited within the home-institution curriculum for all students.

An international staff from all partner institutions has been involved in the design of the curriculum as well as in the elaboration of course and assessment materials. Courses will be taught by visiting professors on site or delivered via videoconference.
