Publication by Dr. Tamás Tarjányi and colleagues received a highlight in the Dentistry Journal

In collaboration between our institute and the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Szeged, a new scientific paper has been published in the international, peer-reviewed, Q1-ranked Dentistry Journal, where it has been highlighted on the journal’s homepage.
The study entitled “Mechanical Behaviour of Dental Luting Cements: Static, Dynamic, and Finite Element Studies” investigates the mechanical properties of various dental luting cements using static and dynamic loading measurements, as well as finite element modelling.
The first author of the publication is Dr. Tamás Tarjányi, Assistant Professor at our institute, whose research focuses on the investigation of mechanical properties and the application of molecular simulations. Contributors from our institute include Rebeka Anna Kiss and Dr. Zsolt Tóth, while Dr. Csongor Mészáros and Dr. István Pelsőczi-Kovács participated from the Faculty of Dentistry. The aim of the study is to achieve a deeper understanding of the mechanical properties of clinically relevant dental luting cements. The results may contribute to improving the long-term stability and reliability of dental restorations.
